MedShift launched Velocity for Shopify, a Shopify-native SaaS integration designed to bring enterprise-grade B2B sales operations directly into the Shopify ecosystem. Built to support modern, rep-led B2B and hybrid B2B/DTC organizations, Velocity transforms Shopify from a transactional e-commerce platform to a scalable sales operating system for field sales teams. Prior to Velocity, B2B ordering workflows within Shopify were fragmented and manual. Sales orders originated through emails, phone calls, and spreadsheets, requiring internal teams to manually onboard customers, enter orders, assign territories, and calculate commissions. As sales organizations grew, these processes caused delays and errors, making it difficult to scale. Velocity for Shopify eliminates these inefficiencies by embedding a dedicated sales rep portal directly into Shopify Admin. Sales representatives can onboard customers, build carts, and place orders in minutes from any device, while visibility controls ensure reps only see their assigned customers, orders, and commissions. Territory mapping down to the ZIP-code level automatically assigns orders to the correct sales representative, while real-time commission automation supports up to six hierarchy levels with flexible overrides. In addition, Velocity introduces secure vaulted payments and configurable checkout workflows, allowing reps to place orders on behalf of customers using Shopify B2B, Shopify Plus, or Shop Pay. This creates a seamless and secure order-to-cash experience. Launched in November 2025, Velocity for Shopify represents a major milestone in MedShift's evolution as a software-first company. By extending its award-winning enterprise SaaS platform into Shopify, MedShift expanded access to sales automation tools for organizations ranging from teams with only 5 sales reps to enterprise sales organizations with more than 50 mapped representatives - all without requiring users to leave the Shopify environment where their orders already live.
