In January 2025, Tycene Fritcher took a leap of faith, signing on as CEO with Sightview, an eye care-specific EMR/PM organization. Just one year following a bankruptcy declaration, Sightview experienced major organizational and reputational harm that left the long-established company hemorrhaging staff and clientele. Familiar with the brand and its superior product offering, Tycene was intrigued by the opportunity to take full responsibility for the struggling organization, stepping outside her traditional sales and marketing leadership roles to oversee the entire enterprise. Within her role as CEO at Sightview, Tycene quickly identified areas of opportunity to improve the brand’s reputation, strengthen current client partnerships, and unify a collection of legacy solutions into a more cohesive, best-in-class offering for eye care providers. In the twelve months since she took the helm, she has: - Spearheaded and completed a complete organizational refresh to align Sightview with modern market trends - Lowered employee turnover by 60% - Dropped client churn from 4.5% to 1.3% - Implemented new client satisfaction operations and metrics, like NPS and closed feedback loops, to maintain and grow existing partner accounts - Hired six new executive leaders (three of whom are women) including chief technology and revenue officers - Drove modernization of Sightview’s security protocols, leveling up systems and processes from minimally compliant to industry best-practice - Focused on staff-wide support and transparency initiatives to improve Sightview’s culture and staff satisfaction Tycene is on track to launch a new product by early 2026, unifying Sightview’s two strongest solutions into a single, more secure and user-friendly platform.
